Before your rideshare inspection
Check tire condition, working lights and brake performance before your visit. Also look for steering problems, damaged seat belts, cracked glass or missing or damaged mirrors. A pre-check can help you identify concerns, but it does not replace the inspection.
Bring your platform’s current inspection form or instructions, vehicle registration or title, and keys. Have your driver account’s inspection deadline available so you can confirm what Uber or Lyft needs you to submit.
After the inspection, follow your platform’s instructions for uploading the completed report. Uber and Lyft decide whether your documents and vehicle qualify for their platforms; an inspection does not guarantee account activation.
Call or contact us on WhatsApp to confirm the inspector is in before visiting. Annual rideshare inspection and Maryland registration safety inspection serve different purposes; ask which inspection applies to your vehicle.
